How to: Edit Classes

Use this guide to edit, reschedule, skip, and/or cancel Classes.

Navigate to the "Semesters" page (linkarrow-up-right) by clicking on the "Semesters" option in the navigation menu.

Click on the Semester within which your Session exists.

Click on the desired Session.

Click to edit Class

Click on the "Classes" tab and then click on the Class you wish to edit. This will take you to the "Class Details" page. From this page you may click the "edit" button in the toolbar. Alternatively, you may click on the "edit" button in the Class row on the "Session Details" page.

If your class is in the future, you may need to adjust the date range using the filter in the toolbar at the top of the "Classes" tab.

Classes may not be edit after they have concluded.

Enter details

In the popout, enter the relevant details for your Class.

Status

The status of the Class - "Normal" means the Class is run according to schedule with no important changes - "Rescheduled" means the Class schedule is different from the regularly scheduled date/time - "Skipped" means the Class is not running and will not appear in schedules. "Skipped" suggests a planned scenario (e.g. national holiday) - "Cancelled" means the Class is not running and will not appear in schedules. "Cancelled" suggests an unplanned scenario (e.g. weather event)

Start/End time

The actual start/end date/time of the class. Note that changing the start/end date/time does not automatically set the Status to "rescheduled." You will have to do this manually.

Coach(es)

The list of coach(es) that are running this Class. This is not required. However, this ensures that this Class is automatically displayed for the signed in coach in the Coach service.

Save

Click "save" at the bottom of the popout to save your changes. This will reload the "Sessions" data grid.
