Days off

What are Days Off?

A Day Off is exactly what it sounds like; a special day where there isn't any diving, or that the usual diving schedule is disrupted. A Day Off has a name and a date and determines the status of Session Classes when they are being created.

How do Days Off work?

A Day Off is very simple. When defining a Day Off, all that is required is a name and a date. When Classes are created based on a Session schedule, if a Class lands on a Day Off's date, the Class will be automatically set as "skipped." This will prevent the Class from being counted as a regular Class and will be shown to Members as "skipped.".

A Day Off should be created before a Session if you believe that it will impact its Classes.

When creating a Day Off, you will have the option of selecting a date range. This will allow for scenarios where there is a disruption for period of time, such as with competitions. However, each date within that time frame is considered an individual Day Off, thus, if editing is required, each day in the range must be edited.

Deleting

Days Off can be deleted if they have yet to occur. To delete a Day Off, double-click on the Day Off in the schedule on the home page, then click and hold the "delete" button.
