How to: Create Semesters

Navigate to the "Semesters" page (linkarrow-up-right) by clicking on the "Semesters" option in the navigation menu.

Click "add"

Click the "add" button in the toolbar at the top of the page.

Permissions are required to create Semesters.

Enter details

In the popout, enter the relevant details for your Semester.

Property
Description

Name

The name of the Semester. Sessions are grouped by this value in the Store.

Season

The Season within which the Semester is being delivered. This is required for reporting and future affiliation purposes.

Start/End dates

The start/end dates within which the Semester will deliver Sessions.

Description

Provides a description of the Semester in general. This value is visible to customers in the Store.

Post-registration message

Information included in Communications sent to Account owners after registering for Sessions within the Semester.

Visible to clients

Indicates whether the Semester (and by extension its Sessions) is visible in the Store. This does not prevent direct links from functioning.

Archived

Indicates whether the Semester is archived. If so, it will be hidden by default on the "Semesters" page.

While you are not technically limited, it is recommended that the start/end dates of your Semester are within the Season's start/end dates.

Save

Click "save" at the bottom of the popout to save your changes. This will reload the "Semesters" data grid.
